As a Community Organizer and Advocate, Rachel primarily works on issues related to our watersheds -- particularly the Blackstone, Taunton, and Pawtuxet Rivers -- as well as Aquidneck Island and the smaller watersheds in between. She also works on legislative and policy issues related to Narragansett Bay and river restoration.

Rachel came to Save The Bay in 2008 from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where she was the coordinator of the Massachusetts Adopt-A-Stream Program. She has a BA in Environmental Studies from William Smith College, an MS in Geology from the University of Rhode Island and has always been interested in the possible future effects of sea level rise and climate change on the Bay and its watersheds. Check out her blog.

Rachel grew up on the South County coast, sailing Narragansett Bay.
